Dr. Coppola has over twenty years of experience in a broad range of areas, including groundwater flow characterization and assessment, contaminant plume delineation and hydraulic control, aquifer test design and analysis, risk assessment, wellhead protection delineation, wellhead protection management, groundwater supply assessment and management, with modeling expertise in areas that include numerical, analytical, artificial neural network, and optimization methodologies. He has taught 8-hour professional training courses for the Massachusetts Licensed Professional Association in areas that include groundwater principles and flow, groundwater modeling, well hydraulics, and aquifer test analysis.
Ms. Chokshi is a member of the Engineering Group at Sadat Associates, Inc. (SAI). She earned a Master’s Degree in Environmental Engineering from the University of Maryland. She has a strong background in Solid Waste, Wastewater and Energy fields. As a project engineer, she is responsible for analyzing reports, maps, drawings, blueprints, tests, and aerial photographs on soil composition, terrain, hydrological characteristics and other topographical and geologic data to plan and design projects. She also calculates cost and determines the feasibility of projects based on the analysis of collected data. She is involved in preparing reports, specifications, plans, construction schedules, environmental impact studies, and project designs. Ms. Chokshi has been employed by universities and consulting firms resulting in the opportunity to combine theory with practice.
Mr. George is a member of the Engineering Division of Sadat Associates, Inc. (SAI). He has more than
15 years experience, and has participated in various aspects of a number of complex engineering projects. Prior to joining
SAI in 2001, Mr. George worked as an assistant designer for highway projects in the United Arab Emirates.
Dr. Aziz is a Project Engineer at SAI. He has a strong background in physical and contaminant hydrogeology.
Dr. Aziz has expertise in field investigations, including soil/water/gas sampling, pumping and slug tests, design and installation of monitoring wells,
drilling supervision, wells monitoring and maintenance, data acquisition by automated equipments and geophysical survey. He also performs groundwater
flow modeling (Modflow, Modpath and MT3DMS), and soil and groundwater data evaluation and interpretation and technical report writing.
Dr. Aziz holds both a Ph.D. and an M.A. in Geological Sciences from Columbia University, and an M.S. in Geology from the University of Dhaka in Bangladesh.
Mr. Verdi serves as a member of the Engineering group with Sadat Associates, Inc. He has contributed to and written several reports for the Site Remediation program, including Preliminary Assessment, Site Investigation, Remedial Investigation, Remedial Action, and Remedial Action Workplan. He has organized and conducted field investigations and collected soil, groundwater, and gas samples, modeled data for various projects, and experienced entry level project management.
Mr. Zari is a senior project manager with the Engineering Group at Sadat Associates, Inc. He is responsible for the design of wastewater and stormwater facilities, including hydraulic design, treatment system design, and cost analyses for wastewater, solid waste and remediation, along with bid document preparation and evaluation. Mr. Zari is familiar with the unit costs for all aspects of wastewater systems, including piping for collection systems, pump stations and force mains and wastewater treatment systems. He is also proficient in economic and financial analysis and modeling. Prior to joining Sadat Associates, Mr. Zari served as a managing engineer in the Moroccan National Office of Potable Water.
