Jiturvi Chokshi,

Ms. Chokshi is a member of the Engineering Group at Sadat Associates, Inc. (SAI). She earned a Master’s Degree in Environmental Engineering from the University of Maryland. She has a strong background in Solid Waste, Wastewater and Energy fields. As a project engineer, she is responsible for analyzing reports, maps, drawings, blueprints, tests, and aerial photographs on soil composition, terrain, hydrological characteristics and other topographical and geologic data to plan and design projects. She also calculates cost and determines the feasibility of projects based on the analysis of collected data. She is involved in preparing reports, specifications, plans, construction schedules, environmental impact studies, and project designs. Ms. Chokshi has been employed by universities and consulting firms resulting in the opportunity to combine theory with practice.

Il Kim, Ph.D.

Dr. Kim is a member of the Engineering Group at Sadat Associates, Inc. (SAI). As a project engineer, she is responsible for assessing water quality, hydraulic, geologic, hydrogeologic, and groundwater chemistry data in order to design and implement projects. She is involved with in-house bench scale laboratory studies for biofouling issues associated with landfill leachate extraction well systems. In addition, she is also responsible for designing pilot systems at the aforementioned project sites. She evaluates project engineering specifications, logistics, and construction approach as well as cost analysis and report preparation. Her other responsibilities include freshwater wetland and flood hazard permitting.
